Scholarships and Awards
In 1978, the Society created the Edmonton Churchill Scholarship which supports a University of Alberta Engineering graduate to pursue his or her doctoral studies at Churchill College, Cambridge University.
This award currently supports a recipient for three years at approximately $40,000 per year. Application information can be found here.
More recently, through the Churchill Statue and Oxford Scholarship Foundation, the Churchill Oxford Scholarship was endowed to support a University of Alberta Humanities graduate student to pursue their doctoral studies at Oxford University. This award currently supports a recipient for three years at approximately $20,000 per year.
